M18 Progress Meeting in Wuppertal, Germany
The CIRCULIGHT consortium gathered this week in Wuppertal, Germany, for its 18-month progress meeting. The event brought together project partners to review recent achievements, share updates, and align on the next steps in advancing the project’s goals. We extend our sincere thanks to our hosts, Bilal Gökce and Jan Lino Kricke from the Bergische Universität Wuppertal (BUW), for their warm hospitality and excellent organization. The meeting included an inspiring tour of BUW’s laboratories, offering valuable insights into ongoing research activities within the consortium. Engaging discussions throughout the sessions reinforced our shared commitment to innovation in photonics and nanomaterials, and to the broader objectives of the Horizon Europe programme.
Our CIRCULIGHT Poster at the Fête de la Science, C2N Palaiseau
Yesterday, our CIRCULIGHT poster was presented at the 34th edition of the Fête de la Science at the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (C2N) in Palaiseau.
The Fête de la Science is a nationwide celebration that brings science closer to the public through demonstrations, interactive experiments, and open discussions.
This year, the C2N opened its doors to visitors eager to discover the world of nanoscience, photonics, and advanced technologies.
As part of this event, we showcased the CIRCULIGHT poster, sharing our research and engaging with visitors, students, and fellow researchers.
It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, raise awareness about our work, and spark curiosity about the scientific advances taking place at C2N.

M12 Plenary Meeting - Bari, Italy - 2,3 April 2025
The CIRCULIGHT consortium met in Bari on 2–3 April to review project milestones and align on next steps. Discussions covered simulations, material development, fabrication progress, and socio-technical analysis, alongside strategies for dissemination and future workshops.
M6 Plenary Meeting - Eindhoven, The Netherlands - 29,30,31st October 2024
The consortium gathered at TU/e to review project milestones and future directions. Key discussions included the status of deliverables, such as the Data Management Plan, the roadmap for MO material development, and strategies for enhanced dissemination. Partners also toured the TU/e labs, showcasing cutting-edge progress in material and technological processes.
Kick-Off Meeting - Palaiseau, France - 2,3,4th April 2024
The CIRCULIGHT kick-off meeting took place at C2N on April 2. It was an excellent opportunity to bring all the partners together, share our enthusiasm and set the scene for the exciting journey ahead. The involvement and commitment shown during the meeting confirmed our collective will to advance innovation and sustainability.
